I endeavor to support people to grow through their pain, embrace their realities and move with purpose through life’s many chapters. My goal is to meet you where you are at and foster building resiliency that will guide you forward with each new challenge life presents. Working together we will build self-confidence, compassion and deepen understanding.
Remember changing your life takes courage, I am here for you and provide a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere to support your growth. Reach out if you are:
A new parent or having parenting challenges.
Struggling with your mental health or addiction.
Facing a career change or feeling unsatisfied with your current career.
Unsatisfied in your relationship.
Scared you are not reaching your full potential.
I completed my Bachelor of Arts with a Psychology Major from Simon Fraser University in 2001 and between then and now I have acted as a personal counsellor, a group facilitator, a visitation & access supervisor, a family worker and a parent educator which entailed completing parenting assessments. Further to this I foster parented a youngster who had fetal alcohol syndrome and have worked with neurodiverse populations across all faucets of my professional career. I recently graduated from Yorkville University with my Masters in Counselling Psychology. I am a registered clinical counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. (BCACC)
I believe that we all have the capacity for personal excellence and it is my contagious enthusiasm for life that I hope to pass along to you during our session time together. I am empathic, genuine in my interventions and compassionate to all cultural, sexual orientation and socio-economic backgrounds. I will meet you with warmth, trust and respect.
You are not alone, every journey starts with a single step.

I am not your typical counsellor, and well, I don’t want to be! I'm real. I'm approachable. I have a potty mouth too. And I don't think therapy should be some stale, clinical, sterile experience. Think of it more like a session with your good friend, a friend that can hold a safe space for you to unpack all your stuff. Have a cry, yell, get mad, maybe even plot revenge with (just kidding?...)and then offer supportive, direct, honest and collaborative feedback. I’m not afraid to talk about the hard, awkward stuff and I’m not also afraid to challenge you.
I got you.
I use multiple techniques, but I am not limited to; Attachment-based therapy, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), CBT, and Interpersonal Therapy to identify and resolve emotional and behavioural issues. I develop an individualized therapeutic approach to each individual that I provide counselling services to.
I am a member in good standing with The Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists (ACCT) and I am bound by their rules and code of ethics.
