Etiquette

Here are some tips for proper yoga studio etiquette :

  1. Please book your class online at least one hour before class. Arrive early: It’s important to arrive at least 5-10 minutes before the class starts. This gives you enough time to set up your mat, take a few deep breaths, and get into a relaxed state of mind. Additionally, the door to the studio will lock 5 minutes before class start time.

  2. Respect others’ space: When you enter the yoga studio, remove your shoes and place them in the designated area. This helps keep the space clean and free from dirt and debris. Also, be mindful of others’ personal space and avoid stepping on their mats.

  3. Silence your phone: Your phone can be a major distraction during yoga class, so make sure to turn it off or put it on silent mode. If you need to have your phone with you, make sure it’s on vibrate and placed out of sight.

  4. Bring your own yoga mat: It’s always best to bring your own yoga mat. However, if you forget your mat, mats are available to borrow or purchase.

  5. Stay hydrated: Keeping your body hydrated is important during any physical activity, including yoga. Bottles of water are available for purchase.Be mindful of others: Yoga is a communal practice, so be mindful of others in the class.
